Definitely one of my fave local bars. The "kerbside-style" junky eclectic furniture makes me smile. The place is cool without being pretentious. There is a wide variety of ales and ciders on offer and the knowledgeable, friendly staff can provide details on them all. Early evening and Sunday arvos they play laidback tunes - everything from reggae to ska to classic rock to glam. Before I left Brisbane, I went to Campos Coffee for breakfast (and coffee) every Friday morning.
The menu changes at the start of each month, and each month there are always several incredible offerings worth trying, ranging from exotic breakfasts to sumptuous staples to guilt-inducing sweets.
For true coffee aficionados, they also offer "cupping sessions" (the coffee equivalent of wine tasting) which I am told is incredibly educational and very interesting.
If you're having a meeting, ask to book the meeting room out back. It's much quieter, it's private and it's very comfortable. It seats 10 people but we've squeezed more in when we needed to. ;)
It's a must-visit!... show more
